The Website Policies Pack is one of our Business Start-Up Packs. The Packs give you a range of documents tailored to your commercial needs, to ensure that your business has the right documents in place for full legal protection and compliance. They help you navigate the opportunities and challenges you face in establishing and running a business.

Every business has (or eventually will have) a website. Your business has a number of legal duties towards users of the site, whether they are your customers or not. Our Website Policies Pack gives you four terms/policy documents for publication on your site to comply with your obligations.

The Website Policies Pack gives you:

  • Website Terms of Use – contains provisions dealing with access to and use of your website, disclaimers for material on the site or linked to from it, rules about how such materials may be used and about unacceptable user behaviour (such as hacking, and uploading illegal content).
  • Acceptable Use Policy – includes rules and standards which visitors to your website must comply with, to prevent unauthorised reproduction of material and prevent undesirable user behaviour. It also gives you contractual remedies for breach of the policy by the user.
  • Cookie Policy – provides users of your site with information about your use of cookies.
  • Privacy Policy – a policy that complies with the GDPR and the UK data protection laws, notifying users of your site about how you collect, uses and stores personal data.

The Website Policies Pack costs £900 + VAT, which includes a consultation with you to discuss your business and requirements. After the consultation and receiving full instructions, we provide your Pack within 5 working days.

We offer four Business Start-Up Packs, with a range of documents aimed at new and recently-formed businesses. The other Start-Up Packs are:
